Transforma Projects announces the first round of the Creative Recovery Mini-Grant Program. The program supports work existing at the intersection of art, social justice and recovery in New Orleans. Funds will be granted to the work of local independent artists, unincorporated groups, gathering spaces, publications and collectives that contribute to rebuilding. [501c3 non-profit organizations are not eligible.] Projects can include an exhibition, a public art project, an event or performance, the publication of writing directly related to the arts, an online project or publication, an artist residency, a screening, and more.
